These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the TapMe website (tapme.lk), products, and digital profile services. By placing an order or creating an account, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services — but feel free to reach us at hello@tapme.lk if you have any questions.
1. Eligibility & Account Responsibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use TapMe services. If you are under 18, you must have the permission of a parent or guardian.
When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
If you become aware of any unauthorised access or security breach, you must notify us immediately at hello@tapme.lk.
2. Orders & Payment
The total cost of your order is displayed on the checkout page before you confirm your purchase.
Online orders must be paid in full at the time of checkout via PayHere, which accepts all major credit/debit cards and bank transfers. Cardholders are subject to verification by their card issuer. If authorisation is declined, TapMe is not liable for any delay or non-delivery.
WhatsApp orders require a bank deposit before production begins. You must transfer the full order amount to our bank account and send the payment receipt via WhatsApp to +94 74 111 6949. Your order will only be confirmed once we verify the receipt.
By placing an order, you confirm that all billing and delivery information provided is accurate and that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.
TapMe reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at any time due to product availability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or any other reason at our sole discretion. A full refund will be issued for any cancelled orders.
3. Refund & Replacement Policy
Full replacement: If your NFC card arrives and the chip is not functioning, we will replace it at no cost.
50% refund: If the card or print is visibly damaged upon delivery, you are entitled to a 50% refund of the card price.
No refund: Delivery fees are non-refundable under any circumstance.
Custom-designed cards (White Custom, Black Custom, Fully Custom) are non-refundable once production has begun, unless the card is defective or damaged.
All issues must be reported within 24 hours of receiving your order. Contact us at hello@tapme.lk or via WhatsApp with photos of the issue.
4. Card Design & Customisation
Standard cards (Classic White & Classic Black) are produced with the TapMe default design. No custom branding is included.
Custom cards (White Custom, Black Custom, Fully Custom) allow you to submit your logo, brand colours, and design preferences. A design proof will be shared for your approval before printing.
You are responsible for ensuring all design assets you submit (logos, images) are owned by you or that you have the rights to use them. TapMe is not liable for any intellectual property infringement arising from customer-supplied artwork.
Fully Custom cards include up to 3 design revisions. Additional revisions may incur extra charges.
Once you approve the design proof and production begins, no further changes can be made to the physical card design.
5. Order Cancellation
Orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun. Please contact us via WhatsApp immediately after placing your order if you need to cancel — we will do our best to help if production has not yet started.
For WhatsApp orders, cancellation requests must be made before we acknowledge your deposit receipt as confirmed.
6. Delivery
Standard delivery: Card production within 2–3 working days, estimated delivery 3–7 working days island-wide.
Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays are not counted as working days.
Delivery is free island-wide within Sri Lanka. International shipping is not currently available.
Delivery times may be affected by external factors beyond our control, including weather conditions, courier delays, or public holidays. TapMe is not liable for delays caused by such circumstances.
If you are unavailable at the time of delivery, redelivery will be arranged at the earliest opportunity at no additional cost.

7. Digital Profile
Each TapMe card comes with a digital profile page hosted at tapme.lk/card/[username]. This page is publicly accessible — it is the core function of your NFC card.
You retain full ownership of the content you publish on your profile. By using our service, you grant TapMe a non-exclusive licence to host and display your profile content on tapme.lk.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content on your profile. You must not publish content that is false, misleading, offensive, illegal, or that infringes the rights of any third party.
TapMe reserves the right to suspend or remove any profile that violates these Terms, without prior notice.
You can update or remove your profile content at any time through your dashboard. If you close your account, your public profile will be taken offline.
8. Prohibited Uses
You may only use TapMe services for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You agree not to: violate any applicable law or regulation; impersonate TapMe, its staff, or any other person; upload or transmit viruses or any malicious code; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems; use automated bots or scripts to access or scrape the Service; engage in any conduct that disrupts or interferes with the Service.
You also agree not to use TapMe services to harm, exploit, or defraud others, or to send unsolicited communications.
TapMe reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these rules.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on tapme.lk — including text, graphics, logos, card designs, and software — is the property of TapMe or used with permission, and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any TapMe content without prior written consent.
10. Disclaimer of Warranty
TapMe services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the uninterrupted availability or error-free operation of our website or digital profile service.
We are not responsible for any losses arising from your reliance on information provided through our service.
11. Limitation of Liability
TapMe's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of our services is limited to the amount you paid for the product or service in question.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of business, revenue, or data.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on this page. The date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent update.
Your continued use of TapMe services after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of TapMe services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
